Collaborations

Creating ornamental metalwork is often a collaborative effort -- smiths with designers, designers with architects, clients with architects and designers, and so forth. Though Martin Rose designed much of the work he produced, he worked freely and frequently with many of Cleveland’s finest architects and designers of the time: Charles Schweinforth, Walker and Weeks, Rorimer and Brooks, Garfield, Harris Robinson & Schaefer, Palmer & Riley, Irvin & Co., Halle Bros. Interior Designs, Sterling & Welch, to name a few. And he recruited Paul Fehér from Paul Kiss’ Paris forge to become chief designer.

We continue to follow his lead, collaborating with designers and architects as well as having an exceptional designer/smith as artist-in-residence. We are honored to count among our friends and collaborators such talented individuals as David Ellison, The D. H. Ellison Company, Architects; Anthony Paskevich, Anthony Paskevich and Associates, Paul Westlake, Westlake, Reed and Leskosky; Al Yanda, Yanda Design, Kenyon Bolton, Kenyon C. Bolton, Architects, Inc., among others.

We welcome architects, designers, artists, and clients to join us in this process!
